ALARM Magazine | Issue #35
ALARM Mag ALARM Magazine #35 is out now, in the fancy new book-style format. It’s a really well-designed book, a clever, thoughtful departure from the typical magazine format. Issue #35 includes my feature on avant-garde guitarist Richard Pinhas and Japanese noise artist Merzbow, regarding their album Keio Line!, my discussion with Mi Ami’s Daniel Martin McCormick about their debut, Watersports, and a review of Zu’s thrash-jazz Carboniferous. Issue #35 is jam packed with content, presented thoughtfully and with great care. If you’re interested in cutting-edge art and music, check it out.

The Seinfeld episode where Jerry and George have an awkward night out with Elaine’s writer father is based on a real-life event where Larry David was forced to entertain his girlfriend’s father—Richard Yates.
